2009: A Year of Bikini Bliss

Always a welcome sight, the year of 2009 wasn’t short of its fair share of sexy celebrity beauties showing off their fabulous figures.

With scenic beaches around the world acting as the perfect setting, Tinseltown hotties such as Miley Cyrus, Hilary Duff and Carrie Underwood were among the lovely lasses to slip on their two-piece swimsuits for a little waterfront fun.

Not to be forgotten, sexy starlets including Jessica Alba, Lauren Conrad, Lindsay Lohan, Britney Spears, Ashley Greene and the Kardashian sisters all fit in their own tropical getaways during the course of 2009.

Meanwhile, we were all treated to the pleasantness of numerous supermodel beach shoots throughout the past year – as gorgeous gals such as Gisele Bundchen, Miranda Kerr, Alessandra Ambrosio, Marisa Miller and Bar Refaeli got in on the skin-revealing sessions while performing their important work duties.

Lindsay Lohan gets out of her Maserati after getting into a minor car accident on Monday in Glendale, Calif.

The 22-year-old actress was not driving, but was sitting as a passenger in the car while her assistant was driving. Lindsay’s assistant hit a Subaru in front of them, damaging the front left of the Maserati. She has had two previous accidents, one in 2005 and the other in 2007.

Lindsay is currently doing community service after an arrest warrant was issued by Beverly Hills Police to complete her sentence for her 2007 mishap.
